To make another decoction, you will also need fresh leaves and pre-dried felantin stems. 5 tablespoons of the plant should be mixed with 6 tablespoons of water. The composition is then put on fire and boiled for several minutes. Upon completion of the last stage, the product is diluted with cold water, bringing to room temperature. The decoction is applied to the affected areas of the nails and aged for 30 minutes. This method of treatment is supplemented with antifungal ointments.
Compresses
Therapeutic compresses derived from selandin are mainly used in the later stages of the disease, when the fungus has affected the deep structures of the nail plate. This tool softens the affected area, due to which the healing ingredients penetrate easily deep.
